NEEDHAM, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–International Data Corporation (IDC) recently released an IDC Innovators report that profiled four vendors offering innovative unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) management solutions that address the Meet growing enterprise needs for proper monitoring and management, and analyze the performance of their networks, applications, and devices. These solutions support the proliferation of real-time communications (voice and video) reliably and efficiently, whether on-premises or in the cloud, and derive intelligence from usage data. The four companies are: Kurmi Software, Martello Technologies, VOSS Solutions and Vyopta.
UC&C management solutions support a range of functions including provisioning of new users and phone numbers (e.g. adding new employees to Active Directory), migrating users (e.g. from premises to the cloud), real-time monitoring of voice and /video performance, management and, among others, administration, reporting and analytics, design/deployment services, automation and security. Most also support APIs/integrations for business operations and application integrations in the broader global UC&C ecosystem. Note that UC&C management solutions can support many of these features, but very few support all of these features.
With a mix of multivendor communications and collaboration solutions now the norm in many business environments, customers are increasingly considering third-party cloud-based alternative solutions for managing their UC&C solutions, as third-party tools typically handle multivendor environments better manage as UC&C vendor-delivered management solutions.
“For organizations looking to improve the decision drivers of their UC&C investment – voice, video, collaboration, productivity, user/customer experience, innovation, business growth, etc. – UC&C management solutions are the best way to measure results,” said Rich Costello, Senior Research Analyst, Enterprise Communications Infrastructure and Unified Communications & Collaboration at IDC. “IDC believes it is now imperative that customers think more proactively about UC&C management solutions, rather than constantly responding to network and real-time traffic challenges as they arise.”
The report, IDC Innovators: Unified Communications and Collaboration Management Solutions, 2022 (IDC #US49426722) profiles four companies that have developed innovative solutions for managing Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C). The four companies are:

Martello Technologies provides end-to-end visibility and insight into Microsoft 365 and Teams performance by correlating network and UC&C application performance data to provide an enhanced digital user experience.
VOSS solutions provides UC operations and performance management software that introduces high levels of automation and analytics to help organizations deploy, manage and monitor the digital workspace.
vyopta Helps organizations streamline UC experiences, increase productivity, and maximize technology and real estate investments by assisting with UC adoption, technology migrations, and capacity planning.
About IDC innovators
IDC Innovators’ reports showcase a set of vendors — with less than $100 million in revenue at the time of selection — selected by an IDC analyst in a given market, as having an innovative new technology, a breakthrough approach to offer an existing problem and/or an interesting new business model. It is not an exhaustive assessment of all companies in a segment or a comparative ranking of companies. Vendors in the process of being acquired by a larger company may be included in the report, provided the acquisition is ongoing at the time the report is published. Vendors backed by venture capital firms may be included in the report even if the venture capital firm has a financial interest in the vendor’s business.
