D-Fend Solutions and Syzygy Integration work together to optimize C-UAS communication and data management | Panda Anku

D-Fend solutionsa leader in radio frequency (RF), cyber-based technology for drone takeover and Syzygy integrationan engineering firm for next-generation situational awareness technology, has integrated D-Fend’s EnforceAir™ C-UAS with Syzygy’s SNAP (Sensor Network Access Point).

The integration will strengthen support for the Team Awareness Kit / Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Justice (DOJ) and first responders in the fight against malicious drone activity both sensitive and critical locations and events. TAK is a low-cost, government-sponsored off-the-shelf solution developed by the Department of Defense that enables tactical data generation, visualization and sharing to facilitate communication between multiple users and achieve shared tactical situational awareness. This integration also allows EnforceAir to work instantly with camera systems, radar and other sensor technologies for fusion and filtering across all capabilities in SNAP. SNAP also enables all sensor data to work simultaneously across corporate networks via secure connections, mobile ad hoc networks (MANET), goTenna and Iridium.

“We are pleased to be working with Syzygy Integration,” said Zohar Halachmi, Chairman and CEO of D-Fend Solutions. “The integration of EnforceAir’s unique and proven cyber takeover drone capabilities with SNAP will result in greater optimization of cross-functional tactical data flow and communications for various C-UAS scenarios, sectors and use cases, providing more robust airspace safety and security related to increased threat levels from hostile and insecure UAS activities.”

“This integration is perfectly timed given the clear increased threat of unauthorized UAS activity and the required need for enhanced situational awareness and defensive coordination,” said Wesley Mitchell, President of Syzygy Integration. “Through this strong collaboration, we are taking more effective steps to protect airspace with better alignment and coordination between multiple operators, users and stakeholders.”

“We are proud to deliver enterprise situational awareness to the very tactical edge through our goTenna mobile mesh network solution in partnership with D-Fend Solutions and Syzygy Integration,” said Ari Schuler, goTenna Chief Executive Officer.
